My Rating: 10/10
Synopsis: Exhaustive research and analysis about the recent financial meltdown are undertaken in this documentary narrated by Matt Damon. Numerous faces from the political scene, financial institutions, journalists, and members of the academe participated to connect the dots on how it all came to be which costed the whole world a massive recession that is the worst yet and forewarns a financial collapse may happen again in the future if steps will not be taken to pass reforms and ultimately change the ‘Wall Street Culture’.
First question that comes to my mind is who should I trust? Apparently, I can’t trust anybody. Just how the devils wearing suits got away with all of these and how they’ve got shit as conscience. This is bat shit crazy and how it corrupts the political system and even the education system, most of all Harvard and Columbia. There’s really nothing that money can’t buy. It’s a world I’ve never seen before, now I fully understand why greed is a capital sin and why money is the root of all evil. Gaaahhh…this is by far the scariest most real thing I’ve watched. I’m taking this documentary with heaps of spoons of salt (as I do with almost everything in the news) so I’ll ask around, have people I know that are acquainted with the recent world financial crisis say something about it or at least comment on the veracity of the documentary because truthfully, it still scares me even now as I am typing this. It’s like the world has gotten much darker and evil in any corner is more pronounced than ever.
