49 – Das Leben der Anderen (The Lives of Others, 2006)

My Rating: 8/10

Synopsis:  In 1980s East Germany, before the fall of the Berlin Wall, the secret police had been tipped to place under surveillance the house of an influential couple who are believed to be conspiring against the government. Agent Wiesler (Ulrich Mühe)  headed this unit which started smoothly according to plan but inevitably, his connection to them eventually became not just a passive one.

It’s a great movie. but this one is not for me. Ulrich Mühe slayed the role! I only watched it til the end
because of his character.
