24 – Trainspotting (1996)

My Rating: 8/10

Synopsis: Renton’s (Ewan McGregor) addiction to “getting high” and his misadventures and tricks along with his mates are seen here featuring the ultimate hit back in the 90s. Heroin.

It’s your typical rebel-feel movie. Trainspotting got it in depicting what’s addiction like. The ramifications too. It wasn’t dramatic, just plain ramifications straight up. I was disgusted but interestingly I liked  them all at the same time, I understood where they are coming from, and their reasons whether valid or not did not make me judge the characters. On a side note, I never seen Ewan McGregor this skinny before.
Trivia: Johnny Lee Miller who is Sick Boy in here plays Sherlock in the CBS’ reboot of Sherlock Holmes, Elementary, set to debut this coming fall
